WHAT IS SEA MOSS

Sea moss is a term given to a group of sea vegetable that many people assume to be all the same. Yes, they are the same but are slightly different also. Some of the other names are Chondrus Crispus, red algae, Irish moss just to name a few. There are also a variety in colors gold, red, purple just to name a few. As well as a variety of textures short and fat, while others are very skinny like strings. Sea moss can be found surrounding the coasts of the many islands in Caribbean in the Atlantic ocean. As well as many Southern country's whose coastal regions are bordered by the Atlantic ocean.

Please do your own research and study ANYTHING that you READ or SEE anywhere. Some of my favorite sources are

SEAMOSS

Sea moss can provide and abundance of nutrients we need for daily function. Some of those nutrients are but not limited to the following iodine, zinc, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, and silica.  It's also naturally loaded with selenium, B-complex vitamins AND vitamins A, C, E, G, K and more. The cells of the body cannot function without potassium. Adding high-potassium foods like sea moss to the diet can significantly improve behavior and mental functioning. High potassium foods are also very helpful for moodiness, agitation, depression and anxiety issues. Irish moss is also an excellent source of B vitamins, which are known for supporting the nervous system and reducing stress.

Sea moss can help act as a soothing and healing agent to all mucous membranes (great for external skin health (depending on form and proper application) and internal digestive tract health).

Great for the cold and flu season, but also for building up your immune system year-round. Irish moss is a source of potassium chloride, a nutrient which helps to dissolve inflammation and phlegm in the mucous membranes, which causes congestion. It contains compounds which act as natural antimicrobial and antiviral agents, helping to boost immunity and get rid of some infections, colds, flu, and other mucous conditions.
